I decided to join Students in Free Enterprise out of my own self-interest, but I grew to enjoy the work and really appreciate the change I was making. SIFE combines service that actually impacts the community and a business environment that helps me stay focused and achieved our desired goals. This past year, I was the project manager for Money Matters, a 4-part series that helped improve Financial Literacy among UGA students. We covered topics such as saving and investing for retirement, leases, and the causes and results of the recent financial crisis, and we were able to impact over 150 students.
